We are delighted that our CEO, Nihat Arkan, will be speaking at the Global Government Forum ‘Innovation 2019’ in February, held at the Central Hall in Westminster, London!
The Global Government Forum is an international conference in collaboration with the UK Civil Service, open to all civil servants across the globe. The one-day event will centre on the use of innovation within government and business, specifically focusing on global civil servants in regards to policy making, technology, working practices, procurement and service delivery.
Nihat will be speaking on the Procurement in Innovation panel amongst individuals such as Carolyn Tremain, Chief Executive at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment in New Zealand.
The discussion will highlight flexible and innovative business processes, particularly focusing on recent changes in public procurement, and address the ways in which digital platforms have transformed competition and smooth buying processes, as well as innovative contracting models and new approaches to commissioning IT.
These are topical issues in the modern world, in particular the ways in which many governments depend on private and voluntary sector suppliers for the delivery of services, contributions to organisational development and running of business processes.
Nihat will discuss the best approaches to public procurement, in particular how business performance can be improved, as well as how public funds can be saved by working closely with private organisations.
Innovation 2019 serves as the perfect opportunity to exhibit and discuss ways in which organisations can deliver a fast-class service, especially in times of fiscal pressures and changes in society.
