Global language technology company, thebigword Group, celebrates success after hosting their first virtual thebigleaders event last Thursday.
thebigleaders is a community of language leaders, joining forces at a series of events and forums. Having previously hosted the events in person in London, California and Portugal this is the first time the event has been broadcast virtually.
thebigleaders intends to engage, inspire and drive innovation in the localisation industry and provide professionals with the opportunity to engage in peer-to-peer discussion and attend keynote talks.
The event for enterprise clients and prospects, which took place on the 30th September was moderated by Clare Riches, Chief Commercial Officer at thebigword Group. The event also featured Rebecca Ray, Director of CSA Research who discussed the Globalization of the Enterprise as well as Tom Raczka, Senior Global Localisation Manager at IHG Hotels & Resorts who discussed Machine Translation within the Hospitality Industry.
Attended by some of thebigword’s world leading clients, the ensemble participated in thought provoking talks and networking with the language specialists.
