STTR uses stenography to provide real-time, verbatim support. The reporter types speech phonetically on a special keyboard, which the computer instantly converts into English text for display on a screen for Deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.
Lipspeaking
This service is designed for Deaf people that do not use sign language, but can lip read. A Lipspeaker conveys speech to Deaf individuals through clear mouth patterns, rhythm, phrasing, facial expressions, and gestures. Our Lipspeakers are all qualified to Level 3.
Deaf Relay Interpreting
Deaf Relay Interpreting supports Deaf individuals with additional communication needs, by ensuring clear understanding between them and a sign language interpreter through a Relay Interpreter acting as an intermediary.

Notetakers provide clear, accurate notes for people who need to focus on interpreting or lipreading rather than writing.They produce concise manual or electronic notes that capture the key information being communicated, removing unnecessary pauses, repetitions and filler language to ensure clarity.
