Language services company thebigword has launched Music Fridays at its Leeds headquarters last week.
Staff from across the business were invited to join an ‘open mic’ style event to raise money for St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds.
Colleagues showed fantastic support for the talented performers on stage and can look forward to regular Music Fridays in the future in aid of St Gemma’s.
Founder and CEO of thebigword Larry Gould said: We have some amazingly talented people here at thebigword and we want our hardworking staff to be able to share their talent with friends and colleagues. We also do what we can throughout the year to support local charities like St Gemma’s Hospice who do such great work to care for people with terminal illnesses.
Senior Project Manager and Performer Sam Taylor said: When Larry contacted us, I was really keen to get involved. It was great fun and I’m looking forward to the next Music Friday event!
