thebigword trio shortlisted for Forward Ladies’ business awards

Three talented business women from Leeds-based technology-driven language communications provider, thebigword, have been shortlisted for the Yorkshire and North East regional final for the Forward Ladies’ Women in Business awards.

The awards acknowledge and celebrate talented business women across the UK, giving women the opportunity to recognise their achievements.

Diane Cheesebrough, thebigword’s chief operating officer, has been shortlisted for the ‘Inspiring Leader of the Year’ award in recognition of her dedication to mentoring individuals at all levels and success in delivering operational excellence for the business.

Bernadette Byrne, group client services director and Debbie Capell, global head of operations interpreting and linguist recruitment at thebigword, have both been shortlisted for the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ award. Bernadette, for her exceptional relationship skills, mentoring and leadership qualities and Debbie, for her impressive improvements in costs, quality and engagement across thebigword.

The Yorkshire and North East winners will be announced on 29 September at The Crowne Plaza, Newcastle.
