Last week thebigword global family came together at our Leeds HQ for our annual commercial week.

Our mission is to make the world a smaller place by breaking down communication barriers and we understand the importance of aligning our global goals and encouraging team collaboration in order to achieve and exceed.

The three-day event was comprised of inspiring talks held by our senior leadership team, technology demonstrations and training workshops on commercial strategies and techniques. All areas of the business were involved from Linguist Recruitment to Quality Assurance, ensuring the team unite and develop as a whole to support our global growth from Sales through to Operations.

From early starts with coffee and Danishes to live evening entertainment, including Craige Sykes’ from Sales stellar comedic set, our commercial team fully embraced the theme of the week: ‘Winning Together’.

Being an international company with 12 offices around the world, these annual events are vital for our team to strengthen international relationships, share valuable knowledge and successes and work together to define future opportunities for thebigword.

The team left motivated to drive the business forward towards our vision, enabling everyone worldwide to access services and trade by breaking the language barrier.
