On the 12th July, thebigword held their appropriately named Big Tea party in honour of the NHS’s 75th birthday. Our UK staff enthusiastically gathered at the Brainworks in Leeds, immersing themselves in an afternoon filled with delectable cakes, comforting cuppas, and a plethora of enjoyable activities. The event aimed to raise funds for the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity.

Amidst the fundraiser, an enticing assortment of treats was available for purchase. Additionally, our dedicated staff had the opportunity to showcase their baking skills by selling their own delectable creations, all in support of the cause. To further demonstrate their solidarity, our staff proudly donned the iconic blue attire symbolizing the NHS.

As one of the primary telephone interpreting service providers for the NHS, thebigword sought to pay homage to the remarkable life-saving work carried out by Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS. thebigword takes immense pride in our role supporting the NHS to deliver exceptional care to all individuals, including Limited English Speakers.
