thebigword and Clarion UK were proud to exhibit at The Primary Care Show 2026, held at the NEC Birmingham on 20–21 May, engaging with healthcare professionals from across the sector and demonstrating how language services are evolving to better support patient care.
Throughout the event, our team showcased WordSynk Virtual, our latest technology designed to provide flexible, on-demand access to interpreters. Built to support busy healthcare environments, the platform enables organisations to deliver timely, accessible, and inclusive communication for patients who require language support.
A key highlight of the event was a Lab Session delivered by Global Sales Director, Matthew Lowe, titled: “Eradicating Language Barriers in Primary Care: A Digital First Interpreting Model.”
The session explored the growing importance of multilingual communication in primary care settings and how digital-first interpreting solutions can help healthcare providers improve accessibility, efficiency and patient outcomes. Attendees gained practical insights into how embracing technology can support more inclusive service delivery across diverse communities.
The Primary Care Show provided an excellent opportunity for thebigword and Clarion UK to connect with industry professionals, share best practices, and demonstrate how we are supporting organisations to deliver high-quality, inclusive care through language services and technology.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and attended the session. If you didn’t get a chance to speak with us at the event, you can find out more about our solutions or get in touch with our team to continue the conversation.
