Global language technology company, thebigword Group, has collaborated with Microsoft to create a series of videos following the move of its technology infrastructure into Microsoft Azure.

The video series showcases how thebigword is leveraging its investment into Microsoft Azure and other products such as Office 365 and Dynamics 365 across the business – helping it achieve its vision of giving everyone the power to communicate without language barriers.

By providing technology solutions to its customers, thebigword is driving innovation in the language market. The strategy of the business has evolved from a focus on translation and interpreting services by also delivering technology services to its customers.

As a result of these developments, thebigword wanted to move their infrastructure into a cloud solution – but with significant public service and government contracts, the key was security when moving their infrastructure.

Microsoft Azure has provided peace of mind for their clients, as well providing a smoother operation to help thebigword to improve product support and implement quicker technology. As well as allowing them to engage with customers in a new way, products like Microsoft 365 give allow company-wide access to data, allowing teams in thebigword offices to easily communicate across the globe.

The video series comes after the launch of thebigword’s new all-in-one language platform, WordSynk. This platform is a powerful tool for multilingual communication that combines all language and localisation services in one AI powered platform.

WordSynk uniquely utilises Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to automate and optimise the language market. Later this year, advancements in this area like nothing seen in the language market previously will be released for the benefit of customers and linguists alike.

Commenting on teaming with Microsoft, CEO of thebigword Group, Joshua Gould, said: “Microsoft has been phenomenal in providing us with the means to bring some of the greatest technology and apply it to our services. Without technology we cannot exist, which makes Microsoft a critical collaborator for thebigword Group.”

thebigword continues to shape the future of language technology, enabling businesses access to services and trade by breaking the language barriers.
