thebigword Virtual Linguist Summit

Language technology company thebigword is pleased to announce that it will be holding its inaugural virtual Linguist Summit on Tuesday 12th May using Microsoft Teams.

The global language service company will kick start an exciting new series of Summits focusing specifically on interpreting for the Police.

The panel will share updates on the new National Police Framework as well as an update on language technology being used by the Police, such as thebigword’s video remote interpreting tool.

Ahead of the summit thebigword is contacting its network of linguists who support UK police forces to ask them to submit any questions they would like the panel to answer.

Concluding the Summit, Joshua Gould CEO, will chair a live Q&A session, and will be joined by thebigword panel of Experts including Gemma Mullock, Linguist Recruitment, Mark Daley, Chief Operating Officer and Matt Lowe, EU Sales Director.

Gemma Mullock, who works closely with thebigword’s network of Linguists said: “As the Coronavirus pandemic has restricted face to face contact we wanted to continue engagement online, and I am really looking forward to answering questions at the summit.”
