Over 16,000 linguists working with thebigword Group can now take advantage of a new Alexa skill: WordSynk Assistant to manage their day. thebigword Group’s technology company Gould Technology Solutions has built an Alexa skill that integrates with the company’s interpreting management system, IMS.Direct. This enables interpreters to manage their Face to face, video remote and telephone interpreting requirements in one place.
From asking about upcoming bookings, to clarifying important details such as client information, WordSynk Assistant on Alexa is the first interpreting booking skill to give linguists access to their appointments without logging on.
This app currently supports UK/US English language. Spanish and other languages will be available soon.
