Defence services integrator TBW Global, part of thebigword Group, was recently awarded several contracts with the US Department of State, providing training as well as translation and interpretation services in support of joint US and partner-nation training.
The contract work is currently being performed in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. These competitively awarded contracts add to TBW Global’s already large presence in the Middle East.
Much of the work will support foreign language, law enforcement, and civil defence training requirements – a growing focus for the US Government in the region and a strong suite of TBW Global.
Matt Woody, Senior Vice President for the organisation said: “We are excited to see the continued growth of our State Department portfolio, especially to support such enduring training missions. We have a long history of providing support to international law enforcement and justice customers which has played to our favour when entering new regions.”
Along with providing the subject matter expertise required, TBW Global is also bringing a host of new technology to bear on these training missions. The latest highly secure patented platform, WordSynk, provides instant access translation and interpreting services and ensures confidential information always remains uncompromised.
TBW Global supports US, UK, and NATO-Allied nations around the world with headquarters in Washington, DC and regional offices in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Japan.
