150 Hours of Irresistible Training and Mentoring: thebigword shares expertise with Innovators and Business Leaders of Tomorrow
Global language technology company thebigword Group has donated over one and fifty hundred hours of mentoring and training support to entrepreneurs on both sides of the pond.
Led by Irresistible Chairman of thebigword Group Larry Gould, various senior members of thebigword team have worked with a number of organisations including Cornell Tech University in New York. Here, thebigword team have worked with Post-Doctoral entrepreneurs on a runway programme.
Larry’s irresistible training method raises important questions that an entrepreneur needs to have considered in a whole range of disciplines, such as sales and marketing. The team offered hints which really got the entrepreneurs to think about how the answers to these questions will improve their business.
Director of the Runway and Spinouts Programme at Cornell Fernando Gomez-Baquero said: “One of the most difficult things for entrepreneurial scientists is to learn how to sell. We have extremely lucky to have Dr. Larry Gould as a mentor for our Runway Startup Postdoc Program and we have been very impressed by the quality of his mentoring as well as of the sales and marketing support the team at thebigword has given our Runway companies. Their work has been transformative for our companies at the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech.”
In the UK, Larry has recently conducted a series of training sessions on behalf of Connect Yorkshire where he is an Entrepreneur in Residence. Connect Yorkshire helps businesses to grow by learning from Yorkshire’s most successful entrepreneurs.
